About Me
Training
I am a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Washington providing counseling services to children, teenage girls, and women in the Puget Sound area. I provide help with women’s issues (depression, abuse, relationship problems) and children’s issues (behavioral problems, recovery from divorce, abuse, parenting consultation).
I graduated from the University of Calgary, Canada and Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, Portland, OR. Life training includes growing up in Canada, immigrating to the US, being married for 20+ years and homeschooling my three children. As a Christian, my relationship with Christ is the foundation for all I do. Your faith and values will be treated with respect and included into counseling as desired.
My first goal is to listen and get to know you and understand how you think and feel. I act as a mirror and reflect back my observations and together, we will discuss ways to express and regulate emotions and explore healthier ways to think and cope.
